Summer Academy 2018

Expand your child's learning experiences during the summer months. Our Summer Academy program offers an outstanding variety of fun and exciting enrichment classes and sports to select from — one or more may interest your young learner!

Classes

Classes are offered in six summer sessions (Monday through Thursday):

Summer Session 1:  Monday - Thursday, June 25-28
Summer Session 2:  Monday - Thursday, July 9-12
Summer Session 3:  Monday - Thursday, July 16-19
Summer Session 4:  Monday - Thursday, July 23-26
Summer Session 5:  Monday - Thursday, July 30-August 2
Summer Session 6:  Monday - Thursday, August 6-9

Some classes meet all four days of a summer session, Monday through Thursday. Some meet only a few days in a session and some even meet over several sessions. It depends on the subject of the class and the number of areas covered.

Classes in art, reading and writing, science and technology, special interests, and sports and recreation offer numerous opportunities for enthusiastic learning and fun! Click on the links below to find out more about our Summer Academy classes:

Instructors

Community Services instructors are interviewed and evaluated before they can teach classes for us. Instructors must have an educational background, experience, in-depth knowledge and/or skills in the subject area they are teaching. Many are certified classroom teachers. Instructors provide our supervisors and coordinators with a class overview and lesson plans for each class so we can ensure that your child's class experience meets your expectations and ours.
