Senior Special Events

Through rewarding partnerships with local schools and organizations, Community Services sponsors a number of special events for senior adults throughout the year:

  • In May, we host our Healthy Living Lecture Series with an afternoon of interesting health lectures, health screenings, and complimentary refreshments at the Fine Arts Center. It's an informative, fun event for all seniors and their families!
  • Each summer, area residents are treated to a special picnic hosted by Cascade Township officials and firefighters.
  • Each fall, area residents enjoy a live musical performance (usually a vocalist with musicians) at the Fine Arts Center.
  • And every December we welcome the holiday season with a festive luncheon.
